Scott, with a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology has also coached professional and junior players for over 23 years.
The Coaches, Hitting Partners & Trainers
Most of our coaches have competed successfully on the ITF, College Tennis and Pro Tours.
Our Head Coach, Alvaro Bedoya was Gabe’s right hand man at IMG Academies for 16 years.
The Adult Tennis Program Director is Rafael Muzlera.
Our program has two unique training sessions, one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning session includes two hours of stroke production and technique development. The focus of the afternoon session is point development and match play. The students will have one hour of on and off-court conditioning, as well as weight training three times per week. Our method of two training sessions per day will allow the student to assimilate the instruction effectively.
Our high performance academy has a track record of helping players reach their potential. You can enroll at Club Med Academies on a full-time or on a weekly basis, boarding or non- boarding. Full-time and weekly programs are available every week of the year. In addition to academy training, players will be given the chance to train with the best players and to engage in match-play, conditioning, mental training and Coach’s Eye video analysis and player analysis. Our academy is located at Club Med, so the student’s accommodations and restaurant are right next to the tennis courts. All facilities are in the same place and we have a gated property with security at the front and back entrance.
We take our coaching seriously at Club Med Academies using a variety of trained professionals, hitting partners, and trainers so that our athletes can draw from a wide range of coaching perspectives to help them reach their potential.
